On Friday, March 13, the U.S. Mint released 2015 March of Dimes Silver Dollars in collector qualities of proof and uncirculated. In the first 12 hours, sales reached 24,376 coins for a total of $1,120,633. As usual, proofs dominated. Buyers grabbed 16,436 of them compared to 7,940 uncirculated coins.
