Sales of the newly released 2012 U.S. Mint Uncirculated Coin Set started quick last week, but failed to attain the debut levels of prior sets.
Released Monday, May 21, the 2012 Mint Set was the bureau's best-selling numismatic product of the week with unit sales of 164,459. That equates to nearly $4.6 million as pricing for each is $27.95.
