Gold and Silver Prices Rally, US Bullion Coins Again Unchanged
Gold rallied Thursday after a prior session loss which was assigned to the Fed's QE3-lacking statement. One day later, a weaker U.S. dollar, less cheerful U.S. jobless numbers and further time to reflect on possible Fed action proved bullish for precious metals.

2012 Native American Dollar Coin Rolls and Boxes Available
The United States Mint launched 2012 Native American $1 Coin rolls and boxes at noon Eastern Time on Thursday, April 26.

Newly released United States Mint sales figures reflect softer demand for numismatic products which include the debuting American Gold Eagles and Chaco Culture Quarter Three-Coin Set.
Placed on sale last Tuesday, April 17, the Chaco Culture Quarter Set started with sales of 10,666. That was down 725 from the previous set's open, but it was stronger than several other debuts. 2012 Proof American Gold Eagle Coins Reach $8.2M in Sales Debut
Debuting sales figures are in for the five 2012 Proof American Gold Eagle products. Between the Gold Eagles' release on Thursday, April 19, and through to Monday, April 23, the United States Mint registered total sales of $8,245,152.00.
The tally is a bit underwhelming when contrasted against last week's reported proof Silver Eagle sales debut of nearly $18 million or, for that matter, when compared against the opening sales of last year's 2011 Proof American Gold Eagle coins which hit more than $27.7 million or the 2010-dated issues which topped $43.3 million [...]

The markets opened flatter than a griddle cake this morning as everyone opted to remain in suspended animation ahead of the non-event that the Fed's statement will likely turn out to be in the opinion of many. Spot gold treaded water at the $1,640 mark while spot silver tried to cling to the $31 level per ounce.
