The U.S. Mint released two new holiday-themed products today: the 2025 Mighty Minters™ Ornament and the 2025 United States Mint Holiday Ornament. Each features a 2025 Jefferson nickel, struck in uncirculated quality at the Philadelphia Mint, prominently displayed at the center.

These festive collectibles have been a Mint holiday tradition for years, with each edition showcasing a different coin. However, the Mint has stated that the 2025 ornaments will mark the final year of the series.
"No further releases [are] scheduled for this product beyond 2025 as we create new numismatic products to enhance your collection," the Mint notes.
The ornaments are priced at $36.75 each and limited to 5,000 units per design. Previous offerings in the series have included these items:
- 2019 Holiday Ornaments featuring uncirculated Kennedy half dollars, priced at $24.95.
- 2020 Holiday Ornaments with uncirculated Jefferson nickels, offered at $27.95 and $29.95.
- 2021 Holiday Ornaments featuring uncirculated Washington quarters, initially priced at $27.95 and $29.95.
- 2022 Holiday Ornaments with uncirculated Vermont American Innovation $1 coins, released at $27.95 and $29.95.
- 2023 Holiday Ornaments featuring uncirculated Native American $1 coins, offered at $35.
- 2024 Holiday Ornaments containing uncirculated Kennedy half dollars, priced at $35.
All of the coins in the ornaments were produced at the U.S. Mint’s facility in Philadelphia.
2025 United States Mint Holiday Ornament
The 2025 United States Mint Holiday Ornament features a festive teardrop shape. It contains the words "UNITED STATES MINT" and "2025" circling the reverse (tails side) of the enclosed Jefferson nickel. The ornament is adorned with bright blue and purple snowflakes, accented by elegant blue and silver swirls, and includes a silver ribbon for easy hanging.

The nickel displays Monticello, the iconic home of Founding Father and former U.S. President Thomas Jefferson. The design, created by sculptor Felix Schlag, has appeared on five-cent coins since 1938, except for the Westward Journey designs issued in 2004 and 2005.
The ornament is crafted from solid brass and finished in imitation rhodium. Its packaging showcases the ornament’s design on the front and a descriptive overview on the back.
2025 Mighty Minters Ornament
Aimed at younger collectors, the U.S. Mint also offers the more colorful and playful 2025 Mighty Minters Ornament. Two of the Mint’s Mighty Minters characters, Layla and Eli, appear on the ornament as they decorate a gingerbread house.

A Jefferson nickel is positioned at the top of the house, encircled by a green wreath with a red bow. "United States Mint" and "2025" are printed on the front door.
This ornament is also produced from solid brass and finished in silver imitation rhodium.
Ordering
The 2025 Holiday Ornaments from the U.S. Mint may be purchased directly from the Mint’s website on the Collectible Ornaments page.
There are no household order limits, though each ornament is restricted to a product limit of 5,000 units.

KC&SO, Cag or any others with a solid grasp on LMBA am/pm fixes for the week, know if there’s any chance we see a 3 tier price bump vs 2, with gold products tomorrow.
Growing up as a child, did you ever play “Red Light, Green Light” ?
As a Buyer.., we play once more.., what’s your move?
LBMA (London Gold Fix) thru Day 4 of 5,
(AM / PM)
Current USM Pricing Grid Range: $3,750.00 – $3.799.99
4 Day average: $3,916.84
KC&SO, thanks for posting your figures, as that’s given me the visual to get a basic grasp of the weekly LMBA, its affect on the pricing range table, calculations and after digesting and charting true and false answers pertaining to “Pricing Criteria” scenarios in use, I think I now understand fairly well. I never really spent the time to take in and digest all the scenarios and calculations. The way I now see it, tomorrow we will definitely see a 3 tier gold price change, unless the 10/8/25 avg fix for the day, either plummets to $3,832.60 or sky rockets… Read more »
The first 48K ASE Marine Corps Privy coins have been struck. There are 901 LESPS subscriptions left and 426 American Gold Liberties available at 10:30pm ET.
Thanks for the info Caliskier on the LESPS subscription. I get one every year but not on subscription. I told my cousin and she also subscribed for 1. I really appreciate it. I have every year of the LESPS.: )
Silver is drifting toward $49 an ounce.
Antonio, PM’s are definitely hot today! Silver currently(9:54am) up 2.55%, Gold 1.31%, Platinum(Pt) 2.9% , and Palladium(Pd) 6.24%! Even Rhodium seeing a little action with .72%.
KC&SO, Cag do you guys have a go to source to see the LBMA Wednesday AM and PM fixes? I know that the close times are: AM close 10: 30am London/5:30am EST. and PM close 3pm London/10:00am EST. However according to their website: “we publish prices with delay to midnight London time on the day they are set.”
Regardless of what happens to Gold the rest of the day…
…The Superman ½ oz. Gold coin will be priced @ $3,150.00 later today…
Cag do you know if the U.S. Mint pricing range table uses LBMA data from the previous Wednesday through Tuesday or from the previous Thursday through Wednesday? I ask for further reference in order to be able to calculate future price changes. Thanks! On the Mints “Pricing Criteria” page, the final deciding factor appears to be the “Wednesday London P.M. Fixed” rate, which is taken into consideration after first looking at the “Weekly Average London Fixed” price. The reason I ask, is that since the LBMA says: “we publish prices with delay to midnight London time on the day they… Read more »
CaliSkier,
United States Mint will use today’s LBMA AM and PM pricing for Today’s Gold grid pricing…
Thanks Cag! Cag do you have a go to source to see or obtain the LBMA Wednesday AM and PM fixes prior to 7pm this evening? Any knowledge on who the Mint obtains their Wednesday LBMA numbers from?
Cali, An equally important question to ask is what time on Wednesdays does the USM make the price changes. I have observed that time to be around 3:00pm ET. For instance, here are the times (ET) the price change occurred today for a sampling of their Gold, Platinum and Palladium coins: 1/2 oz Gold Comic Art @ 2:55pm 1 oz Gold Buffalo @ 2:55pm 1 oz Gold American Liberty @ 3:05pm 1 oz Gold Eagle Proof 2025 @ 3:05pm & 2024 @ 3:00pm 1 oz Gold Eagle Uncirculated 2025 @ 3:05 pm & 2023/2024 @ 3:00pm 1 oz Platinum Eagle… Read more »
Good question Rich! I feel as if the Mint usually does this, as you say around 3pm EST. However something tells me that, technically they could do this, as soon as their source provides them with the Wednesday LBMA PM close price, which is set at 3pm London/10:00am EST. Hmm, ponder?
Superman has been repriced to $3,150.00…
