2012 Native American Dollars, Quarters Set, and $1 Proof Set in...
The fourth week of April wraps up with two annual sets and new dollars from the United States Mint. Numismatic product releases include the Presidential $1 Coin Proof Set, the America the Beautiful Quarters Uncirculated Set, and rolls and boxes of the Native American Dollars.

The unique 1903 Fengtien Province Tae was certified by PCGS during the April 2012 Hong Kong International Coin Convention & Antique Watch Fair.
The 1903 "dragon dollar," graded PCGS Secure Plus™ AU55, was submitted by PCGS Authorized Dealer Chun-Yo-(Stanley) Chou of Fuchin coin company of Taiwan on behalf of an anonymous collector. It is insured for $5 million.

Gold Rises 0.1% as Silver Gains 0.9%, Gold Eagle Coins Padded
Gold etched out a gain of 0.1% Thursday but was limited by a firming U.S. dollar. Silver proved to be the modest leader of precious metals on the day, advancing 0.9%.

2012 Proof American Gold Eagle Coins Released by US Mint
Thursday, April 19, 2012, the United States Mint issued four 2012-W Proof American Gold Eagle Coins and a Four-Coin Set. Their starting prices range from $215.50 to $3,585.50 since their sizes vary. The most expensive offering is the set containing all four proof coins.

Mark Twain Commemorative Coins Approved in House
Commemorative coins honoring Mark Twain could be issued by the United States Mint in 2016, based on legislation which overwhelmingly passed in the House on Wednesday, April 18, 2012. Entitled the Mark Twain Commemorative Coin Act and numbered H.R. 2453, the bill sailed through the House almost without opposition by a vote of 408 to 4.
Under the terms of the proposed Act, the Secretary of the Treasury would be required to produce gold and silver coins in commemoration of Mark Twain, the noted 19th century author and humorist [...]

Gold prices dipped Wednesday as the U.S. dollar firmed and oil prices declined, market conditions that were flipped on the previous day when gold rose for the first time in three sessions.

According to the latest United States Mint sales figures, buying activity was at its height last week with the debut of proof Silver Eagles and Chester Arthur $1 Coin Covers.
