On Tuesday, October 5, CoinNews.net published an article that included an edge view of the 2010 America the Beautiful Silver Bullion Coins. The United States Mint started producing them on September 21, 2010, and they will launch later this year.

United States Mint coin sales were mixed, breaking a string of two weeks where demand had climbed across nearly every product the U.S. Mint was selling.
James Buchanan Presidential $1 Coin Covers appear in the sales tables for the first time this week, having just been released Thursday, September 30, 2010. Four-day orders totaled 16,220, which continues a trend of lower opening sales as compared to previous debuting figures for the series:
