U.S. Mint silver products held the spotlight for the week ending Nov. 2, accounting for fifteen of the Mint’s twenty best sellers. The two top performers, however, were clad products — the uncirculated 10-coin 2025 Mint Set and the proof set holding the four 2025 Innovation dollars.
Elsewhere, ten products showed weekly declines, up from eight in the previous report. All reductions were modest except for four — the roll and bag products featuring the recently released Althea Gibson quarter — which recorded losses ranging from 46 to 467.
Once again, for record-keeping purposes, the 2025 Silver Proof Set logged its eleventh consecutive weekly decline, this time slipping by only three units.

It does appear the 2025 Reverse Proof Palladium coin final sales could/will be less than 4,000, with the latest sales = 3,991. The debut four-day starting sales = 4,012, or 66.9% of the 6,000-coin mintage limit (CN, Mike Unser, 9/9/2025). The coin launched at noon ET on September 4, 2025, and became Currently Unavailable around 9 pm ET on September 7, 2025 (CU date/time courtesy of Roster).
Retail Market for the 2025 Rev Proof Palladium Eagle are presently significant. Possibly worth the price: exception design and very precious metal
The Mint sold some 30,000 of the 2025-P American Liberty Silver Medal, which has been unavailable for months. It has a mintage limit of 60,000, so where are the other 30,000?
With the other 7.500 of 17,500 FHG’s, and the other 25,000 of the 75,000 FHG Silver Medals….
Yeah alot of coincidental under selling of mintage, the poof, Alladin buy$ more… where are they, Indeed snuck into an indiscreet garage in Buffalo. Along with a pallet of USM Ag allegedly incinerated ….
pd 25 should be a long term winner and bullion went the right way! $2k,pt,amd pt likely even w Au correcting…
Yeah, I hear ya.., the only Acting Director signature I want to see is her resignation signature.., shouldn’t be long now, – Perhaps Cali can ask her why it’s never occurred to her to pen an email to those that have ‘invested’ in the 25DSG thanking us for our patience, and being patrons of the USM – common sense customer relations 101, Platinum – yeah, the real winner for 2025.. of which I did not participate; In 2026 I’d prefer the USM just axe the APdE and offer Pd BU again.., in sufficient quantity for it to be around for… Read more »

I have a subscription for the LESPS. Today, I got a roll of Celia Cruz AWQ from my bank. First time I’ve gotten a full roll since I got a roll of Northern Marianas quarters way back when. iAzucar!
Today on USM Facebook –
KC, The “Granite Lady,” or the Old San Francisco Mint, was retired and permanently closed for minting operations in 1937.
I visited back in 1979 or 1980 and have a brass medal, I minted myself back then, as a souvenir with an S mint mark. It’s a museum. I visited the New Orleans Mint in 1978. Alas, it was closed for renovations. It’s now a jazz museum, with a small section remembering it as a mint. Also visited the Carson City Mint in 1980, which is now the Navada Natural History Museum. Eventually all the Mints will be converted into museums and coins will only be remembered by us “old timers”. I’ll think, “it was fun while it lasted.” Postage… Read more »
My computer conked out mid-post; so, I’ll try again. I’ve seen mint buildings in Philadelphia (the current one), New Orleans, San Francisco (the Granite Lady), Dahlonega (the site of the 1878 building and the museum), and Charlotte (the moved building). Still on my numismatic bucket list are Denver, West Point, and Carson City. I remember the historical video that played at the Granite Lady back in the 1990s. Husky-voiced actress, Mercedes MaCambridge, exclaimed that the Granite Lady was RAVAGED! by the 1906 earthquake but still stood when the shaking was over. I also recall the display of S-marked gold coins.… Read more »
Ooops, slightly over looked that little tied bit, I was batting worse than the Jays in the final innings yesterday… 😉
Ponder… Some may recall my e-mail efforts to help facilitate the Mints initial announced HHL of 3 being reduced to 1 for the 2025 American Silver Eagle(ASE) Army Privy coins? I received back an official response from Acting Director Kristie McNally. Within days of the e-mail correspondence and just after the 3 HHL was announced in a press release, sure enough the HHL was reduced, which was also reduced for the remaining 2025 military privy coins as well, in order to assist in getting the broadest distribution possible. Anyhow, this led to, I believe REB suggesting I travel to Washington… Read more »
Thanks E1!
Cali, I say, “GO!” I’d get every one of the COAs with her name on it autographed in addition to the email.
Thanks for your $.02 REB!
Cali, Go for it!
BTW, did you catch this similarity in yesterday’s “A Masterpiece Reborn…” email from the Mint…
… and
Wish they could have used Lynda Carter as the model and Christopher Reeve (some would prefer George Reeves) for Superman. Take your pick for Batman.
Well that settles it – or does it?
“5TH IN BEST OF THE MINT SERIES:
The 1907 Saint-Gaudens High Relief $20 Gold Coin”
If their goal is to stay as close as possible to the original Gold Coin design, and they mention the $20 HR, my interpretation is that they will go with HR…
Cali, if you can swing the road trip, why not!? She won’t be the Director for much longer…
The originals are always the best. Like the book compared to the movie. I admit it, I’m old school.
Rich, appreciate the heads up and I missed the e-mail. Definitely some similarities and also the “Peace” dollar meets lady liberty, comes to mind with rays of sunshine behind her head. Not a fan of the lightning bolts between the rays of sunshine however, as the first thing that popped into my brain were “lightning bolts” and the “SS” from WWII Germany. Just saying…. I didn’t see any e-mail pertaining to Wonder Woman though…
That put a smile on my face… Wonder Woman Entertainment
That is pretty funny Rich! I assumed the WW was somehow tied to Wonder Woman and the Comic Art coins. Upon further research I guess it has to do with WWE/World Wrestling Entertainment, formerly the WWF/World Wrestling Federation. What comes to mind, Hulk Hogan, Rowdy Roddy Piper, Andre the Giant, Randy Macho Man Savage, King Kong Bundy, Big John Stud, The Iron Sheik, Jimmy Super Fly Snuka, Jesse the Body Ventura, Nature Boy Ric Flair, Nikolai Volkov, Junkyard Dog, Sergeant Slaughter, Kamala the Ugandan Giant, and of course “The American Dream”’ Dusty Rhodes, etc, etc, etc! LOL
It will be a memorable trip for sure, which I hope you won’t regret. Memories, like tears in rain.
Some of you will find this of considerable interest –

To be published in tomorrow’s Federal Register. Meeting of the CCAC to review designs on November 18 of the following: “Review and discussion of the Shirley Chisholm Congressional Gold Medal design portfolio; review and discussion of the 2027 and 2028 Native American $1 coin reverse design portfolios; review and discussion of the obverse design portfolios for the 2027-2030 American Youth Sports quarters and Paralympic half dollars; and potential review and discussion of the obverse and reverse candidate designs for the 2026 Semiquincentennial $1 coin.” What kind of rabbit will be pulled out of the hat for the 2026 Semiquincentennial $1… Read more »
I thought they selected President Donald Trump and his Fight Fight Fight from when he was shot. Or was that a joke?
Rick,
1952 Proof Franklin In the House:
A reasonably strong cameo. Not bad.
Quick question. Does CAC offer conservation services?
I think in the end, these (my Proof Franklins) will go to the graders, as a slab would be a much better place for silver proofs in the long run.
Cheers
If you’re going to install that bad-boy in your album, an E1 ‘flash-dip’ would suit that coin nicely. It would clean up the mild rim tone and the haze tone on the northern hemisphere? One must weigh the costs associated with grading vs an intact album full of Gem Coins and it’s potential value. CAC will call out hairlines on proofs and penalize, but from what I can tell, most of the lines on that image are abrasions on the slab? Nice coin E1. CACG grades coins in VA, while CAC stickers coins in NJ. No Conservation services are listed… Read more »
