March sales of Australian minted bullion firmed for silver products and rank third best on record for gold products, the latest figures from The Perth Mint of Australia show.

The Mint’s bullion advances measured against healthier precious metals with March LBMA prices rising 1.7% for gold and 1.9% for silver. First quarter gains were sharper with precious metals prices increasing 6.7% for gold and 7.5% for silver.

Perth Mint Bullion Sales in March and First Quarter 2022

March sales of the Mint’s gold coins and gold bars tallied to 121,997 ounces, soaring 67.9% from February while falling 6.7% from March 2021 when sales reached an all-time monthly high. Aside from March 2021 when sales reached 130,730 ounces, the only better month for the Mint was in February 2021 at 124,104 ounces.

"Amid the Russia Ukraine crisis and its associated gold price volatility, it was no surprise to see a further increase in interest for our physical gold products — particularly from Europe," said General Manager Minted Products, Neil Vance.

"With good stocks of 1oz Australian Kangaroo gold coins and a growing inventory of fractional sizes, we were able to significantly increase the number of ounces shipped compared to February."

The Mint’s first quarter gold sales at 261,357 ounces are 21% lower than the 330,937 ounces sold in first quarter 2021.

Perth Mint sales in March of minted silver coins and silver bars totaled 1,649,634, scoring increases of 1.1% from February and about 3.1% from March of last year.

The Mint’s first quarterly silver sales of 5,669,122 ounces are 23.4% higher than the 4,593,591 ounces sold during the first three months of 2021.

Some comments have been made recently involving the 2022-W ASE Proof mintage sales figure of 746,760 in terms of resale value. For comparison of mintage figures for the 36-year series of the American Eagle One Ounce Silver Numismatic Coins, the 5 lowest mintage coins (under 100,000 mintage) are: 2019-S Enhanced Reverse Proof = 29,909 1995-W Proof = 30,102 2020-W V75 Privy Proof = 74,709 2011-S Uncirculated = 99,882 2011-P Reverse Proof = 99,882 There are another 11 low mintage coins (with mintage under 200,000): 2019-W Enhanced Reverse Proof = 109,675 2017-S Proof = 123,799 2021-W Type 1 Reverse Proof =… Read more »

Just more evidence of my suspicious mind; that it’s all one big metals mafia family from caffeine Mike to NGC and that they must work together to keep the FOMO alive.

You don’t really think that anyone actually paid $840,000 for that crappy chunk of Gold the other day – rhetorical.

Can’t wait to see how they screw this one up –

I would say someone has tuned into this little blog and perhaps my ebay seller page where I explained to the lazy sheeple how to sign up for enrollment so they don’t have to spend the rest of their days bellyaching about over-paying.

Still no official “Sold Out” on the product page but the letter was quite specific American Innovation sold out via enrollments for first time in history – THAT MEANS WE MADE HISTORY – no thanks to or from the US Mint of course…………………..

I derived a mathematical formula from which I further ciphered a conclusion that every .01 (One Cent) per gallon of gasoline increase produces $1 Billion dollars per day in profits for the Politicians in power while concomitantly robbing the American Tax payer of the same Biden has already caused more devastation to America and Americans (just at the gas pumps) than Trump has dead brain cells or Rasputin has inflicted upon Ukraine I derived a mathematical formula from which I further ciphered a conclusion that every .01 (One Cent) per gallon of gasoline increase produces $1 Billion dollars per day… Read more »

When I am able to add any kind of gold bullion to my collection I feel an indescribable since of elation. It also makes me feel a sense of security to have each piece and to be able to hold them in my hands. I think gold bullion could help anyone feel this way. http://www.GemCoCoins.com

Gold has always held a special place in history. It has been coveted and fought over for centuries. Gold can become a special part of your history, too. http://www.GemCoCoins.com

I love gold! I spent many of my younger years starting to build a coin collection that mainly consisted of silver because it was a little less expensive than gold. But once I was able to start working odd jobs as a teenager, my money started going towards accumulating gold, little by little. As as adult, I now have a healthy collection of both! I plan to continue my hobby because now these little beauties will be a part of my nest egg. http://www.GemCoCoins.com

The fascination with gold goes back in history longer than most of us know. Once humans noticed its beauty and learned of its usefulness, there was no turning back. http://www.GemCoCoins.com

Have you ever noticed how many songs have the word “Gold” in their title somewhere? There are a LOT! http://www.GemCoCoins.com
