Perth Mint Gold and Silver Bullion Sales Score Milestone Highs in...
Australian bullion sales surged to milestone levels in April, the latest figures from The Perth Mint of Australia show. When compared against past months since CoinNews started tracking the data in February 2013, the Mint's gold sales are in first place and its silver sales are in second.

Precious metals futures tumbled Thursday with losses ranging from 1.7% for gold to 7.3% for platinum. On Wednesday, gold had logged a second straight day of gains while silver, platinum and palladium had climbed for five sessions in a row.

Two of the most famous U.S. coins ever minted are being auctioned by GreatCollections for the benefit of Andre' F. Toce Sr. Family Foundation, a non-profit that has donated to a variety of causes, including supporting orphaned children in Africa and safe houses for abused women.

The U.S. Mint's 2020 Silver Proof Set returned to the sales limelight after having been unavailable for a couple weeks with its initial inventory depleted.
Last week its ordering status changed from "Currently Unavailable" to "Back Order," allowing collectors to place orders for fulfillment when more became available. With the ordering switch turned back on, the set's sales jumped 7,869 units, making it the Mint's best weekly seller [...]
