CCAC to Review 2021 and Beyond Quarter Design and 2021 American...
The Citizens Coinage Advisory Committee (CCAC) will hold a one-day public meeting Tuesday, October 15, to review candidate designs for a high relief 2021 gold coin, for 2020-2021 silver medals, and for quarter reverses following the conclusion of the America the Beautiful coin program in 2021.

NGC-Certified 1870’s 50c Seated Liberty Error Tops $51,000
An incredible error coin certified by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation® (NGC) realized $51,754 at an auction by GreatCollections. The coin was erroneously struck on a smaller planchet intended for a quarter and is believed to be unique for the Seated Liberty Half Dollar series.
The coin, struck in the 1870s, was recently discovered in a collection that had been held by the Wheeler Family of New Jersey for decades [...]
