Following the success of its September 2025 debut, organizers of the Great American Coin & Collectibles Show (www.GACC.show) have confirmed that the event will return to the Chicago area next year — larger and with special programming marking the nation’s 250th anniversary.

The 2026 show will again take place at the Donald E. Stephens Convention Center, 5555 N. River Road in Rosemont, Illinois. Dealer trading begins Wednesday, September 30, with public hours running Thursday through Saturday, October 1–3. Plans call for expanded bourse space and new educational exhibits commemorating the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776.

"We had a huge floor, a huge turnout, and a huge success in September. We heard excellent comments from collectors and dealers. Our even bigger 2026 show will occupy 220,000 square feet," stated Larry Shepherd, president of Shepherd Expos Management, which co-produces GACC with Amos Media, publisher of Coin World.

The 2025 show drew widespread praise from both collectors and dealers.

"I was really looking forward to attending this (September 2025) show and really hoped that it would be busy and successful – and I was NOT disappointed. Chicago is a great coin town!," declared dealer Charmy Harker (www.ThePennyLady.com) of Irvine, California in comments she posted online.

Heritage Auctions (www.HA.com) returns as the Official Auctioneer of the Great American Coin & Collectibles Show. Co-sponsors include Legend Numismatics (www.LegendNumismatics.com) and Professional Coin Grading Service (www.PCGS.com).
