US Mint Sales: 2020 Reverse Proof Innovation $1 for Connecticut Debuts

U.S. Mint sales picked up some for the week ending July 26, supported by the release of the 2020-S Reverse Proof Connecticut American Innovation Dollar.

Priced at $11.50, the collectible logged six-day starting sales of 24,737 units. It was easily the Mint’s best weekly seller.

  7. 2019 Silver Proof Set (+984 to 403,853)
  8. 2019-S Reverse Proof Pennsylvania American Innovation Dollar (+938 to 43,979)
  9. 2019-S Reverse Proof New Jersey American Innovation Dollar (+929 to 38,679)
  10. 2019 American Innovation Dollar Proof Set (+688 to 103,599)

In its latest report, the U.S. Mint published sales data for 161 numismatic products. Sixty-six of them outperformed their prior weekly gains compared to 40 previously. Not counting the new reverse proof dollar so as to compare apples to apples, 5 products increased by more than 1,000 units compared to 3 in the last report.

In addition, 6 products saw their sales reduced against 2 previously. The reductions were modest.

I see 2020w unc. silver eagle went from unavailable to back order will start shipping in two weeks . I wonder if it will be a big seller now?

Do these sales numbers account for the additional off-sale coins that the U.S. mint sold at a discount to coin and bullion dealers?
I’m not comfortable with accepting these US Mint sales figures as genuine and accurate.

I was such a schmuck, I got 4 more 2019 C&C all have f’d up FRN centereing & now CU so I’m stuck……oh well
