Federal Reserve Orders 7 Billion Banknotes for 2019
U.S. currency production in 2019 is expected to reach just over 7 billion notes valued at more than $206.9 billion, based on a Federal Reserve order submitted to the Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP).

Precious metals futures advanced in pre-holiday trading Wednesday. Markets in the U.S. are closed Thursday for the Thanksgiving holiday and re-open to an abbreviated trading schedule on Friday. Gains in gold and silver were their fifth in six sessions. Both closed at two-week highs.

Block Island Quarter Launch Ceremony Highlights
Last Thursday, Nov. 15, quarters celebrating Block Island National Wildlife Refuge in Rhode Island were officially introduced to the public.

Most precious metals futures advanced Monday in their start to the new trading week. Gold and silver moved ahead for a fourth straight session with each closing around one-and-a-half week highs. Palladium, meanwhile, declined for the first time in five sessions to slip under its all-time record.

Perth Mint Silver Bullion Sales Top 1 Million Ounces in October
Australian bullion sales slowed in October for the first time in five months for gold coins and bars and for the first time in four months for silver coins and bars, according Perth Mint figures published Nov. 1, 2018.
