The U.S. Mint on Monday revealed line art designs of the 2013 Presidential $1 Coins. These are the twenty-fifth through twenty-eighth issues under the Presidential $1 Coin Program which debuted in 2007 to honor former Presidents of the United States.

Gold Rises Modestly, Silver Dips 1.9 Cents, US Coins Gain
Gold inched higher Monday, the first day in the last full week of trading this year. Gold for February delivery gained $1.20, or 0.1%, to settle at $1,698.20 an ounce on the Comex in New York.

Monday, December 17, 2012 is the last day to buy 2012 commemorative coins and 2011 September 11 National Medals from the United States Mint. The U.S. Mint must receive orders by 5:00 p.m. ET on the 17th to be accepted.
