2010 Boy Scouts Silver Dollars Hit 94.5% Maximum

2010 Boy Scouts Centennial Commemorative CoinThere are less than 20,000 of the 2010 Boy Scouts of America Centennial Silver Dollars left, the United States Mint revealed in its latest sales report Tuesday morning.

Since their debut on March 23, 2010, and through to Sunday, April 25, 2010 -- just over a month, the U.S. Mint has sold a total of 330,602 BSA coins. That represents 94.5 percent of the maximum 350,000 mintage.

Split across options, the proof tally is now 223,310 and the uncirculated 107,292. And since the uncirculated Scouts coins sold out (a waiting list is in effect), the remaining 19,398 will be available for proof orders only.
