PNG Donation To Help ICTA Combat Counterfeits
To help fight fake numismatic merchandise in the marketplace, the Professional Numismatists Guild has donated $15,525 to the Industry Council for Tangible Assets Anti-Counterfeiting Task Force.

John Brush of David Lawrence Rare Coins (DLRC) and John Albanese of Certified Acceptance Corporation (CAC) acquired Aug. 4 the fourth identified example of the world-famous 1854-S No Motto Half Eagle for $2.16 million.

Cumberland Island Quarter Ceremony, Coin Exchange and Public Forum
The United States Mint and the National Park Service will soon introduce the quarter that commemorates Georgia's Cumberland Island National Seashore. This year's fourth quarter ceremony will take place at a high school near the seashore on Thursday, Aug. 30.
