Kevin "Mr. Wonderful" O’Leary is appearing in a new advertising campaign from Universal Coin & Bullion that promotes gold, silver, rare coins and precious metals IRAs.

The Beaumont, Texas, company said the campaign includes television commercials, online videos and print advertisements. O’Leary, a businessman, investor, author and media commentator, became a spokesman for Universal Coin & Bullion in 2024.
One of the videos shows O’Leary holding an American Gold Eagle bullion coin while discussing gold’s performance over the past 25 years. Another spot identifies Universal Coin & Bullion as his partner for gold, silver, rare coins and precious metals IRAs.
The campaign also encourages retirement-account diversification through physical gold, the company said.
Dr. Michael Fuljenz, founder of Universal Coin & Bullion, described O’Leary as a strong supporter of gold ownership and said the campaign could help draw additional attention to precious metals and rare coins.
"Kevin is a renowned, respected global investor, venture capitalist, and capital markets expert. His advocacy for gold ownership is a strong endorsement for consumers and investors to own gold. This new promotion will be good for the entire precious metals and rare coin markets," Fuljenz said.
Universal Coin & Bullion said new clients can receive a limited-time offer involving two one-ounce American Silver Eagles and a one-tenth-ounce American Gold Eagle at the company’s dealer cost. The company said callers should mention the "Kevin O’Leary offer" when requesting details.

Fuljenz was named the American Numismatic Association’s 2021 Dealer of the Year. His Metals Market Report newsletter and consumer-protection work have received more than 70 awards from professional journalism and numismatic organizations, including the Press Club of Southeast Texas, the American Numismatic Association, the Professional Numismatists Guild and the Numismatic Literary Guild.
