United States Mint products containing new 2018 American Innovation dollars logged interesting early sales.
Released Friday, product choices include an individual proof from the San Francisco Mint and rolls and bags of uncirculated dollars from the Philadelphia and Denver Mints.
The most popular option through Sunday was the proof dollar. Collectors scooped up 42,877 of those at $6.95 apiece for a haul of nearly $298,000.
The weakest seller from the group was 100-coin bags of dollars from the Philadelphia Mint. With three-day sales of 1,103 and priced $111.95 per bag, they brought about $123,500.
All five products accounted for 439,877 dollars sold for $776,519.

In its latest report, the U.S. Mint published sales data for 163 numismatic products. Not counting the new American Innovation dollars so as to compare apples-to-apples, 53 products outperformed their prior weekly gains against 68 previously.
In addition, 8 products increased by more than 1,000 units compared to 9 in the previous report. The six with heavy losses were Block Island products. Their losses ranged from 7 for 100-quarter bags to 694 for the 5-ounce coin.
