Mike Unser –

The RCM is a class act as you probably already know. They sent me two emails yesterday & two more today to remind me of their Black Friday promo. I took full advantage of all the freebies on coins i was going to order for the holidays anyway. Their website is fantastic! They even allow customers to post comments & opinions on their website in a section below the coin description/specs, including pros & cons of each product! Can you imagine the U.S. Mint offering this option on their barebones website!? The U.S. Mint could really learn a great marketing lesson from our Northern friends at the RCM. The Perth Mint Australia also offers a great website & fantastic customer service. I placed a large order last week & received it in 4 days via FedEx for $13.91 shipping & it had to go from Australia to Singapore to Japan to USA! All the U.S. Mint could muster was a feable attempt to compete with RCM by sending me an email today about their 2 week Holiday free budget shipping ($4.95 value) on online orders over $100. LOL. What a joke ! And their online chat representative couldn’t even tell me today why the U.S. Mint hasn’t lowered its silver coin prices in 11 months (& only on 1 product by $4) even though silver is at a 6-year low! Thanks for letting me comment on your fine website Mr. Unser.
