1916 Chinese Dragon Gold Dollar and U.S. Mint ReceiptsAfter years of research, and convincing evidence in the form of receipts for purchases, I believe that the famous 1916 Yan-Shih-kai Dragon gold dollars were struck in the United States in 1921 for Philadelphia coin dealer Henry Chapman, and not made in China. The historic receipts will be offered in a public auction in Hong Kong in April.
