DG Silver BarsDillon Gage, a Dallas-based precious metals firm, has expanded its operations with the opening of a new bullion production facility and the completion of ISO 9001:2015 certification for its refinery.

The new facility, located at the company’s Dallas headquarters, enables Dillon Gage to produce serialized silver investment bars in-house. Current offerings include 10-ounce, 1-kilogram, and 100-ounce silver bars, each stamped with a unique serial number. The expansion brings bar production under the same roof as the company’s refining and assay operations.

"The introduction of our own investment bar lineup brings a new level of value and consistency to the market," said Terry Hanlon, president of Dillon Gage. "Clients can now source refined metal and finished product from one trusted partner, with quality and accountability built into every step."

With ISO 9001:2015 certification, the Dillon Gage refinery now operates under a quality management system that meets international standards for process control, documentation, and traceability. The certification, awarded following an independent audit, also allows the firm’s bullion products to qualify for inclusion in certain retirement investment accounts, including U.S. Individual Retirement Accounts (IRAs) and Canadian Registered Retirement Savings Plans (RRSPs).

"The ISO 9001:2015 designation signals our continued pursuit of excellence," Hanlon added. "This certification confirms what our clients have long experienced: precision, transparency, and high-performance standards in everything we do."

According to the company, all material used in its production line is traceable from intake through final product, and the refinery maintains electronic tracking through its internal FizRefinery system.

The opening of the facility and certification represent another step in Dillon Gage’s efforts to integrate refining, minting, and storage services. In addition to refining and bullion production, the company operates International Depository Services (IDS) locations in Texas, Delaware, and Ontario, providing secure storage for institutional and individual clients.

Founded in 1976, Dillon Gage is a member or associate of several industry organizations, including the London Bullion Market Association, the Responsible Jewellery Council, and the International Precious Metals Institute. The firm is one of a select few authorized bullion purchasers for major world mints, including the U.S. Mint, and maintains inventory in over 20 countries.
