Ten proof-quality coins, including seven in 99.9% pure silver, debut today at noon ET with the United States Mint’s release of the 2025 Silver Proof Set.

The seven silver coins have a combined weight of 1.473 troy ounces. The remaining three are in their standard base metal composition. All coins feature the U.S. Mint’s proof finish, noted for frosted designs and mirror-like backgrounds, and are struck multiple times to achieve greater detail than their circulating counterparts. The coins are produced at the San Francisco Mint and presented in two protective display lenses.
