The seven silver coins have a combined weight of 1.473 troy ounces. The remaining three are in their standard base metal composition. All coins feature the U.S. Mint’s proof finish, noted for frosted designs and mirror-like backgrounds, and are struck multiple times to achieve greater detail than their circulating counterparts. The coins are produced at the San Francisco Mint and presented in two protective display lenses.

Recent Silver Proof Set Sales and Debut Pricing

Silver Proof Sets have long been popular collectibles, though sales have softened in recent years as prices have risen. At $150, the latest set is $20 higher than last year’s, a difference somewhat eased by a more than $10 per ounce rise in silver prices over the same period.
