One of the U.S. Mint’s most anticipated annual releases goes on sale today at noon ET: the 2025 United States Mint Uncirculated Coin Set®. Commonly known as "Mint Sets," the coins included are struck in uncirculated quality and reflect the nation’s circulating coinage. Each is produced at either the Philadelphia or Denver Mint, the two facilities responsible for striking coins for everyday use.

The set contains 20 coins in total — 10 from the Philadelphia Mint and 10 from the Denver Mint. Each group is mounted on a durable presentation card, and the complete set is priced at $33.25.

Included in the 2025 U.S. Mint Uncirculated Coin Set (2025 Mint Set) are the following:

  • 2025 P&D Native American $1 Coin (honoring Mary Kawena Pukui)
  • 2025 P&D Kennedy Half Dollar
  • 2025 P&D Ida B. Wells Quarter
  • 2025 P&D Juliette Gordon Low Quarter
  • 2025 P&D Dr. Vera Rubin Quarter
  • 2025 P&D Stacey Park Milbern Quarter
  • 2025 P&D Althea Gibson Quarter
  • 2025 P&D Roosevelt Dime
  • 2025 P&D Jefferson Nickel
  • 2025 P&D Lincoln Cent

Among these, the Native American dollar and the four quarters feature one-year-only designs issued exclusively for 2025. The quarters represent the final annual release in the four-year series honoring the accomplishments and contributions of women who have shaped the Nation’s history.

Coins from the Philadelphia Mint are mounted on a blue presentation card, while those from the Denver Mint appear on a red one. Each is struck in the Mint’s uncirculated finish.

"U.S. Mint uncirculated coins are struck on special presses using greater force than what is used for circulating coins, producing a sharp, intricately detailed image," the Mint explains.
