Rick in a previous thread noted: “The AGE v75 Variety has been holding steady at $22k(average PF70) since late 2022. Before that, it had averaged around $15k since late 2020(@GC).” For an apples to oranges comparison, against high valued Proof American Silver Eagles, The 1995 W Proof American Silver Eagle had a reported mintage of 30,125. On March 31, twelve years ago, a PCGS PR70 sold for $86,655 through Great Collections. In April of 2024, a PF70 sold for $13,200, holdered by NGC, at a Stack’s Bowers auction. The price range on 1995 W PF70’s has been about $13K-$16k(NGC/PCGS) the… Read more »
Ola Cali great to see you! I went to school back in the 1970s with a daughter of one of A Marks owners. She was cute but I didn’t know then, boy…. That 95Ase fall is dramatic. I think eventually the # of collectors diminishes as us old guns ride int9 the sunset and the Billy the Kids look at ASE for say $120 at the mint with $35 spot, sales diminished, and demand destruction almost accomplished. All we need is Ventris standing on an Armored Car with a banner “Mission Accomplished” Sponsored by Cag Industrial Smoothing….. A Mark had… Read more »
That V75 release classic USM clusterphuck and insider smorgasbord one seller has 23……
I was indeed a cluster.
IT was indeed a cluster (though I am at times, as well).
I’m glad I missed it. No agonizing over the missed opportunity of having it the bag only to disappear before paying.
Nice to have happen every few years to recharge the love for the mint…..
FHG was bagged and CU after 3m asap after they let me in. Just when I think I’m out, they (try2) pull me back in. Not the only one for sure but the mint’s prices have zero attractiveness. Let’s see if CCAC can come up with a nice design…..but do any of the 3 subjects, proof APtE Sacagawea or AI $1. MAKE A PROFIT….Cag….. anyone I’d take a Valium before reading the mints books
Thanks for the numi number crushing Cali, Since I have no definitive collecting goals(other than the 8-coin BU Kennedy Ag Short Set), and often seek out special(to me) coins whenever I can, the ’95-W & ’19-S ASE’s go right to my bucket list. Great reminder. Greg Roberts, CEO of A-Mark and SGI(Stack’s Bowers Parent), may have had some influence with that deal!? What a Powerhouse Mr Roberts has become. I remember being able to score the controversial 2010 BU Puck set from A-Mark Direct back in late 2010. What a mess that was for a while there! It looks like… Read more »
Yeah Rick, remember how hard the first few bullion puck$ were to snag…. Always loved to get rolls when they were <$1k
For those questioning whether the 2025 proof set would include the 1c, it does.
Proof Set 2025 | US Mint
Mintage Limit: 420,002
Product Limit: 420,002
Household Order Limit: None
Thanks for the heads-up.
REB, for those wanting this one– subscription may be the best way to go. I have a feeling that this will be a sell-out.
I can see the halting circulation Lincoln’s and keeping the collectors version. Maybe issue hem inCOPPER LIKE ‘o9
The annual proof sets have never had a mintage or product limit before. The mintage limit = product limit is puzzling since the 1c, 5c and $1 clad S-proof coins have also traditionally been included in the silver proof set. Or does this mean the silver proof set will not contain the clad 1c, 5c and $1?
Hmm. I carry a subscription to the silver proof set. According to the Mint’s release schedule, it’s supposed to be released April 22. Fingers crossed for the penny?
The Mint’s picture shows 25RH with the 1c, 5c and $1.

Leads me to believe that the mintage limit for 25RG was a mistake.
Whew!
I am sure the coins for the annual sets have been made and set aside. The question is if they pull a flowing hair Liberty and decide to make less than advertised.
Yes, certainly for at least for 2 out of 3. But I agree and expect the Uncirculated set to be fully intact as well.
There has been no legislation introduced into either house of Congress to abolish the cent, so given the speed at which the legislature works, I think we’re safe in thinking there’ll be lots of 2025 Lincolns produced this year for circulation.
