Gold rose more modestly while silver, platinum and palladium rallied in their start to the new trading week on Monday.

Gold for December delivery rose $14, or 0.8%, to settle at $1,805.20 an ounce on the Comex division of the New York Mercantile Exchange.

"The precious metals were boosted today by a weaker U.S. dollar index and falling U.S. Treasury bond yields, as well as a rally in the crude oil market today. Some modest safe-haven demand was also featured in gold and silver," Jim Wyckoff, a senior analyst at Kitco Inc, said in a daily research note.

Gold futures traded between $1,786.90 and $1,806.40. They climbed 0.5% last week.

Geez,
it makes me think SENZA is bullying the people that run this site, too. Hopefully that is what you call a conspiracy theory.

Major D and Jeff Legan,

The foul mouthed fiend who threatens this site’s existence has a demonic propensity for survival and as such continues to escape elimination.
