Gold Marks 7.5-Month High And Tops $1,300
Precious metals futures ended mixed Monday as gold and silver gained and platinum and palladium declined. Gold finished at a seven-and-a-half-month high.

Gold Ends Week At More Than 7-Month High
Precious metals futures rallied Friday, posting gains ranging from 1.4% for gold to 3.1% for palladium. Gold ended the day at its best price in more than seven months. All but palladium advanced on the week.

Apollo 11 Commemorative Coin Sales Reach 296,311 in First Day; Limits...
Apollo 11 50th Anniversary Commemorative Coins are moving quickly. Their first-day sales combined to 296,311 coins, according to United States Mint spokesman Michael White. Add in another 49,825 coins for the companion Kennedy Enhanced Reverse Proof Half Dollar.

Fifteenth Annual PNG YN Scholarship Competition Opens
For the 15th year in a row, the Professional Numismatists Guild (www.PNGdealers.org) will offer a scholarship to attend one session of the annual American Numismatic Association (www.money.org) Summer Seminar in Colorado Springs, Colorado.
Young numismatists (YN) between the ages of 13 and 22 are invited to apply. US Mint Sales: 2019 Quarters Proof Set Debuts
The United States Mint released last week a 5-coin proof set of 2019-dated quarters for $15.95. This first dedicated U.S. quarter product of the year was the Mint's best weekly seller.
Featuring clad proof quarters with designs honoring national sites in Massachusetts, Northern Mariana Islands, Guam, Texas, and Idaho, the set posted six-day opening sales of 35,936.
