2010 UK Britannia Silver and Gold Coins Launch
Britannia once again majestically adorns a new collection of gold and silver coins released by the British Royal Mint within its 2010 Britannia Silver and Gold Collections.
These coins come in four different sizes including one ounce, one half ounce, one quarter ounce and one tenth ounce -- with all of them featuring a new design of Britannia on the reverse as envisioned by artist Suzie Zamit.

New $100 Bill Design Fights Counterfeiting with Enhanced Security
Completing an extensive redesign of American currency, the Bureau of Engraving and Printing's (BEP) new $100 bill takes aim at counterfeiters around the world with a goal to stop them in their tracks.
The new Benjamin Franklin note was unveiled Wednesday for the first time by top officials from the U.S. Department of Treasury, the Secret Service and the Federal Reserve
The banknote contains several security features designed to combat counterfeiting. The first and most notable change is a blue 3-D Security Ribbon found on the front. The ribbon contains micro-images of bells and 100s that switch back and forth as the note is tilted.
2010 Hot Springs National Park Quarters Debut
Marking the first coin ever to be released under the new America the Beautiful Quarters Program, the United States Mint ceremoniously launched the 2010 Hot Springs National Park Quarters yesterday to a crowd estimated at well over a thousand.

The ceremony was held on the grounds of the Hot Springs National Park headquarters building, which is showcased on the reverse (tails side) of the new strike along with the thermal spring fountain located in front of the structure.
