Monroe Presidential $1 Coins Enter Circulation Feb. 14, Public Ceremony at Ash Lawn-Highland on Feb. 13

The first of the four Presidential $1 Coins this year will soon enter banks, stores and public transit systems. The James Monroe Presidential Dollar will be the first coin out of the gate starting on Feb. 14, 2008. However, in a ceremonial release one day prior, Monroe coins will be offered to the public in Ash Lawn-Highland.

Utah Quarters are Now for Sale, Experience the Official Launch Ceremony

These Utah state quarter two-set rolls and bags are available for order now at the United States Mint websiteThe Utah quarter is ready. It’s the final state quarter for 2007, the fifth released this year and the 45th coin in the United States Mint’s 50 State Quarters® Program.

The quarters are fresh off the presses and available in special U.S. Mint rolls and bags.

The two-roll set is priced at $32.95 and includes a roll of 40 Utah quarters minted in Philadelphia and a roll of 40 quarters from Denver. The coins will bear the "P" and "D" mint marks respectively.

Photos from the Jefferson Presidential $1 Coin Release Ceremony

Click to see several photos from the Jefferson Presidential $1 coin introduction ceremonyA week ago from today, August 15, the United States Mint held a release ceremony for the new Thomas Jefferson Presidential $1 Coins. A video of the event sure would have been nice!

But wouldn’t it be great if you could at least see photos from the ceremony? Well, now you can and right here! Fortunately, someone in the news media was taking photos and looking out for those of us who couldn’t attend.

If you’ve never been to a U.S. Mint event before, these photos give you an idea of some of the ceremony trappings and details. By far, the absolute best photos are those showing the kids having a great time. Of course, all the kids received a free, sparkling Jefferson Presidential $1 coin. You can bet that helped bring smiles to their faces.
