Only hours remain until the United States Mint stops selling all 2019-dated commemorative coins. Collectors have until Dec. 27 at 11:59 PM ET to place orders.
Authorized by Congress with mandated sales deadlines, this year’s two U.S. Mint commemorative programs celebrate the 100th anniversary of The American Legion with coins emblematic of the Legion and the 50th anniversary of the first manned Moon landing with curved Apollo 11 coins.
Available products include $5 gold coins, 1-ounce silver dollars, a 5-ounce silver dollar, 50c clad coins, and sets that combine coins, prints, and a medal.
