The United States Mint is releasing their latest coin and product catalog for the gift and holiday seasonThe festive holiday season is fast approaching and the U.S. Mint is ready with their latest coin and product catalog.

The Mint has announced that the new catalog will be available Thursday, October 25. In a statement, United States Mint Director Ed Moy said:

“Our catalog features beautifully crafted products that embody the spirit of America. The women and men of the United States Mint are proud to offer them to the public.”

The first sentence you could expect from any Mint Director. The second sentence, however, is rather refreshing.

It’s certainly holiday-like the way Director Moy reflected the sentiments of U.S. Mint employees.

I was surprised that there was no mention of the 10th anniversary platinum eagle set. If I remember correctly, the 20th anniversary gold and silver eagle sets were in last year’s catalog. Per a recent article I saw, the platinum 10th anniversary set is still slated for december.
