Interesting tidbit – I knew a guy/musician in college who knew the real Sharona. He met her in the LA club scene when he saw The Knack before they hit it big. He said that she dated lead vocalist/songwriter Doug Fieger for a while. I believe the photo on the single’s picture sleeve is that of Sharona.
