SBG is touting the Condition Rarity that the coin exhibits, and in that context, they mention PCGS's <strong>C</strong>ondition <strong>C</strong>ensus on the coin as well...

"<span>The PCGS CoinFacts Condition Census lists the ten finest examples known of a particular coin. PCGS certified coins are listed at their stated grade. Raw coins and coins certified by other companies are listed with an estimated grade. Where known, auction history or private offerings/sales are included."</span>

Rick, thanks for the heads up on coin 36. I missed out that there was a second page, Doh. Here is that coins breakdown as I see it.

Lot 2036 1908 Saint-Gaudens Double Eagle. No Motto. MS-68 (PCGS). CMQ. Rick paid $? on ?/?/?. PCGS est. $27.5K. Unimpressive coin IMO and the top of the torch is “torched” as compared to other MS68’s I viewed. Definitely not CAC worthy IMO, considering the population at PCGS is 99 My guess is $18.5K.

After looking at Lot 2033 again, seeing your guesstimate, I’ll slap another $4K down for a final guess of $96K! The following(below) also threw me a bit and can you enlighten me to CC#1 meaning? All I could envision is Carson City, which it obviously isn’t. Is it as simple as certified coin #1? I also missed out on this being a Top Pop coin that holds the “auction record”($84K) as well! I won’t be surprised if your bid is much closer to the winning bid.

“The reality is that the 1871 double eagle offered here is a very rare coin - an extraordinary condition rarity tied for CC#1 for the issue…”

* Lot 2033 1871 Liberty Head Double Eagle. MS-64 (PCGS). CMQ-X. Rick paid $84,000 on August 4, 2020.(HA) PCGS est. $120K. PCGS population 2, 0 finer. An awesome coin that would be incredible to own for sure, to say the least! My guess is $96K.

PS REB would you ever consider picking the gorgeous coin up or is this one you’re watching and might give a go?

I don't think Wonder Woman or Batman had an official slogan like Superman, "Truth, Justice and the American Way" (which BTW was modified in 2021 by DC Comics to "Truth, Justice and a Better Tomorrow"). So now we have the new 2025 Comic Art Silver Medal - Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman taglines, "Hope and Strength," "Justice and Courage" and "Peace and Equality," respectively.

The mint sent out by email the approved designs for Wonder Woman and Batman. I like the Batman design better than Superman. Wonder Woman obverse is ok. A little flat chested compared to the comic books. Also, where did they get the slogan on the WW reverse of Peace and Equality? Never saw that associated with Wonder Woman… or any super hero.

It's good to see the 2025 ASE Army Privy cumulative sales figures adjusting below the mintage/product limit of 100,000. On launch day, VinnieC had reported early ABPP sales of 10,170 and the "ats" at 89,977 prior to launch (for a total of 100,147 coins).

Some other latest sales figures of interest include:
2025-W Gold Comic Art Superman = 5,680
2025-W AGE Uncirculated = 1,928
2025-W ASE Uncirculated = 92,549
The relatively low sales figures for the 2025 Uncirculated AGE and ASE bear watching.

I guess that explains the remaining 24 'ABPP' Gold coins left on the table(out of a 2000 AB coin limit).

What do you think they'll do with those 24 leftover coins?

Good Luck Rich, REB and to all picking up tomorrows 2025 ASE w/Laser Privy! Although there will be a waiting room implemented, the wait shouldn’t be as long as for the Army Privy and they will likely not go to unavailable for a few days IMO. There was no mention of how long the HHL will be in place on the Laser Privy and the 2025 American Liberty has just a 24hr hold on the HHL. Like the 2025 American Liberty products, the ASE Laser Privy will be offered up at the Mint gift shops, according to the U.S. Mint press releases. PS Ironic that the HHL of 1 appears indefinite for the ASE Laser Privy and just a 24hr HHL for the American Liberty products IMO.
