AK Bob,
Gainesville coins has $1000 bag of silver for $3.01 over spot. Lower size bags and premium increases substantially. 99 cents over spot / oz is quite a good deal

Rick,

I just looked it up and it's there. It's a nice looking coin and to me it certainly looks proof or proof-like. ECG said it best when he said 'How embarrassing for NGC'. These 'experts' are supposed to have such magnificent eyes that they can see flaws us mere mortals never could, but can't match the correct label with the coin being graded? Apparently, quality control isn't a high priority at these grading companies.

I was showing a guy the issue with the alignment problem, and he showed it to the owner (all online).

Cali,

I’m going to disagree with you about everything you said. I don’t even care what happened to the other coin , lol!! It doesn’t matter, it’s not even part of the equation. This offering was for one coin so it doesn't matter about other offerings offering 3 coins! That has nothing to do with this offering. This type of offering will make some folks winners and some losers, obviously many more losers than winners. Unfortunately, this time, I’m a loser. That’s the chance 8 took! Chances are you’ll get a loser but that’s part of the chance you take. It’s a gamble. I got exactly what I paid for so there wouldn’t/shouldn’t be a refund. Was I disappointed, hell yes, did I expect a winner, nope but I hoped sure as hell hoped for one. As far as your mafia grading company, it’s at least a 65! I’m not sure if it’s proof or mint state, I think it’s a proof.

My question was what you’d do if you were me NOT whether I got ripped off or should send it back or whatever! If you’re going to gamble, you better be ready for disappointment! I’ve been very, very lucky in the past with coins and signed COA’s so I was willing to take the gamble! I’ve passed on the previous nine releases but I decided to jump in on this release. I lost! No real big deal. I share this for two reasons! One, is to see what you’d do if you received the coin and label I received and two, to share my experience as I’m sure there are collectors that either have seen these releases and participated or wanted to but didn’t. I’m mainly sharing this for informational purposes NOT to be judged by my actions! What I do with My Money is My Business, PERIOD!! There’s a lot of money in gambling! I’m NOT a Big gambler, I’m NOT even a small time gambler but once in a while I do gamble. We ALL gamble in one way or another at some point. Sometimes money is involved and sometimes it’s NOT.

I’m not sure why you think it was dipped! For one, Vaultbox would NOT put a dipped coin in this release! If they played that way, this wouldn't be as popular as it is. Seriously??????? That comment you made lost me right then and there!!! Now that’s an “uneducated” guess if I ever heard of one, lol! No wonder I’ve never seen any coins graded by your grading Company, lol! ;)

Well, as always, Good Luck ALL!!!

DaveSWFL,

I haven't ran the numbers but I’m going to take an uneducated guess and say, this is just another trick!!! Almost every place that sells junk silver sells it at “X” amount times face value or something like that. So if they’re trying to sell it by the ounce, you’re probably either getting ripped off or it’s the same as face “x” $20. $20 seems to be the amount times face value. Some sell it at $22 times face too. Have you ran the numbers? I’d be interested but I’m not buying any junk silver so I’m not running the numbers. You’re a big silver guy, have you ran the numbers to see if there’s a difference or even a savings? I’m very curious is all. Maybe I’m wrong but I won’t know unless you educate me, lol!! ;). Thx! AK
