The 2023 (P) Lincoln Shield “Extra V” certified population has increased by 12.8% in the last 31 days. Most of these recent certified examples have been in the MS62-MS65 range. There has been little to no change in the upper grade range of MS-66-MS-68.

Prices have stabilized for certified MS65 ($350), MS66 ($650), and MS67 ($895-$1,000) examples. No MS68 certified examples have appeared or sold off in the online market over the last 31 days. MS-63 examples have sold for $75 and the MS-64 examples have sold for $200. The lower graded examples tend to be heavily spotted.

One NGC Early Release Extra V has been reported/verified on the MNB and yet the NGC Population Report STILL does not reflect this coin. Nor does the NGC Pop Report reflect any varieties for the Extra V. There are a number of PCGS Certified 2023 P Lincoln Cents showing up in the on-line market that are legitimate Extra Vs and the “Extra V” attribute is not designated on the holder.

Where are the 2024 coins?? Not a single one and it’s past tax day. Getting lots of nice old AWQ and much older red cents lately. Kennedy halves almost non-existent. Only way to get those babies is to order a box
