Kaiser Wilhelm, if I may interject and elaborate a bit further. Maria Tallchief is actually a “two denomination” honoree. Many, many more than 2 coins. LOL there are 8 different coins and a grip of products containing them. On another blog site a reader had a similar comment and I replied with the following. Sorry if I have already posted this here on CoinNews. “Larry says: “I just realized that Maria Tallchief is on both a quarter and the native American Dollar. That has to be a a first, and probably the only time that will ever happen. What an honor!”

A huge honor, record breaker and possible, forever record holder, for number of products! Hall of Fame for sure!!!

So I can’t find my previous post, however check this out! As best I can tell, Maria Tallchief’s record for most United States coins as well as products will never be broken by a non president and even then probably not.

Let’s break it down. In 2023, Maria Tallchief coins will be made from 3 different metals or alloys, encompassing 2 different denominations. They are Silver(.999), Clad(Ni/Cu) and Copper/Manganese(Ni/Zn also). Denominations of $.25 and $1. There will be 8 different 2023 Maria Tallchief coins in total!

They are the 2023 AWQ’s Ag Proof (S), 2023 AWQ’s Clad Proof (S), 2023 Clad Unc from P, D, S, 2023 Proof Native American $1 (S), 2023 Clad Native American $1 from P and D.

Now the nuttier part is the number of products this will encompass. A whopping, 18 different products as best as I’m able to get a handle on!
