You believe in one source only for your information & a second-hand source at that. You could never be a professional journalist because we require two separate trusted sources before we print anything.
I am a first-hand source in this matter as I was there in person with those who run the UT System as I described in my post.
And don’t talk down to me in this rude accusatory manner as you have a few times (i.e. “rant” & “fabulist” among others).
I have a BA in English & a MA in Journalism with a minor in Biology from UT Austin.
It is you who is living in hatred & loose news sources in your ugly fantasy land. It makes you look bad & foolish. You obviously do not posess the proper credentials to do comprehensive, fact-based research.

This is just getting weirder & weirder.

Seth, the IHE article includes ALL funds. Think about it: a college’s endowment, like ANY measure of wealth, is not contingent on where the wealth is located! If UT’s endowment fund holds stock in Wal Mart (a company based in Arkansas), are you claiming that IHE–or UT for that matter–failed to account for that because Wal Mart is not located in TX? Or let’s say a donor in NY has pledged to give UT money once he passes on–are you claiming that UT does not account for that because the donor is in NY?

COME ON!

The IHE article is plain and factual: UT’s endowment is not more than Harvard, Yale and whatever combined. Period.

You’ve been busted as a fabulist, and I’ve spent less than five minutes debunking just 2 of your fantabulous claims. I won’t waste any more of my time, or readers’ time ,
