They were also selling graded bullion coins for like 85 bucks which is unbelievable. Grading them out of the tube and selling for premium MS69s and 70s but they are not the proofs they are the bullion coins made in the millions for bullion investors, not collectors.

Looks like these went available again this morning at 730am for about 5 seconds. Even with the Mint limiting access to the final few available (given the report CC provided from 3/14/21 sales) I would think the 1/2 & 1/4 coins should be getting the SOLD OUT sign before the end of the week .

I thought we were all collectors here? What collectible item can’t be dismissed as just some stuff, yellow or otherwise? Some people collect certain stuff they value. That’s why they’re called collectors.

The newly implemented Authorized Bulk Purchase Program allowed the 18 participating dealers to place orders before March 11, each for a maximum of 45 of the four-coin sets and 25 of the single 1-ounce gold Proof coins.
Dealers qualifying for the ABPP have purchased $500,000 in U.S. Mint numismatic products for each of the last two years.
The prices for gold Proof coins purchased early included a 5 percent premium above the retail issue price, plus the cost of picking up the products March 8 at the Mint’s contracted order fulfillment outlet, PFSweb, in Memphis, Tennessee.

I’m wondering with so few individual coins left they might be sold out by end of the week thus making the 4coin a bit more valuable until they sell out (next week? Unless a whale comes along).

I also expect fireworks tomorrow afternoon when the FED chair speaks following the FOMC mtg. We might get clue this afternoon/evening when they tell their friends their decisions so they can front run the news(I know just conspiracy talk )

I think the FED is between a rock & hard place. Unless they pull another rabbit out of their backsides. In any case equities,, bonds and commodities should have an interesting 48 hours. Markets don’t like uncertainty, so I’ve been told.

Sadly no matter their decision the big boys will be ready to smash the Au and Ag paper prices, if they can (they probably can). But depending on their decision I think the paper price of Au/Ag will head back up,just have to hang on through bloody pace battle next few days….imo….I could be wrong..
