On Tuesday, Nov. 18, the United States Mint released its latest America the Beautiful Quarters Three-Coin Set. This fifth and final one for this year and the 20th in the series overall has three mounted 2013 Mount Rushmore National Memorial quarters.

Introduced in 2010 beside the America the Beautiful Quarters it features, this series is unique in that all the sets but one is still sold by the United States Mint. Further below, this Coin News Extra article has the latest sales for all of the sets. Pricing for the sets is different depending on the year they were released. Those from 2010 to 2011 are $14.95. Later sets are $9.95.

This year’s first four sets hold quarters emblematic of:

• White Mountain National Forest in New Hampshire
• Perry’s Victory and International Peace Memorial in Ohio
• Great Basin National Park in Nevada
• Fort McHenry National Monument and Historic Shrine in Maryland

The last and newest release for this year, the Mount Rushmore Quarters Three-Coin Set, has coins depicting the national memorial found in the state of South Dakota. Two of the coins are in uncirculated quality with one from the Philadelphia Mint and the other from the Denver Mint. The third America the Beautiful Quarter is in proof quality and is from the San Francisco Mint.
