Agree on all counts. I have been doing my own survey since the coin's release based on the 5 major online dealers I track and here are their established positions:
No MS69/SP69s ever offered. Only one dealer offered the coin in OGP for $6,689, but they went fast. All the original PCGS/NGC/CAC FS/ER/FDI/FDD SP/MS70 prices have held steadfast, they are:
$6,850 (smallest dealer)
$7,149 (large dealer)
$7,199/$7,299 (large dealer)
$7,318 (large dealer)
$7,995 (largest dealer)

Great article.. insightful, And it’s just the normal churn from the weak hands and flippers to position them to where they belong….

Gorgeous coin that time will look very very favorably upon..,

JQC, The prices for that 'I'll be rich since I own this' 2026 EU AGE have really fallen off the cliff. I see them listed in OGP on eBay for $5700 currently. Wonder what they'll sell for next year? Spot? As the wise one, CaliSkier, states...sell when the irons hot (immediately after release). It's always a crap shoot whether a specific coin will instantly be worth a lot more than list, One thing stands out for me, these folks buying on the secondary market right after a release would make horrendous SM investors...always buying high and selling low! If I'm able to secure a 1804 I'll be pleased, but if not, I'll have to settle for making a couple bucks in the SM (maybe a bit more today). Cheers

Howard K,

Nice score My Man! I’m always very, very happy when I see one of my fellow coin collectors get what they want! You not only got what you wanted (score) but you also got it for a nice savings (score) beings how it came down three (3) Tiers! Your timing couldn’t have been better, your skill (fast fingers) and luck (-3 Tiers) combined makes that EU AGE that much sweeter! Thx for sharing AND Best of Luck (BOL) on your next few coins (BOM) if you’re going for them!!! SKILL & Luck =.HAPPINESS!!!! Awwwww

Well, as always, Good Luck ALL!!!

Any ebay seller who prices one of these below $6000 will take a loss after ebay takes their 14% cut. The flippers are better off returning it to the Mint for a refund ( if done timely ) after realizing a profit wasn't possible. I was lucky and scored one at the morning fire sale 2 weeks after the release with the cost 3 tiers below issue price.
