Definitely pricey, for the amount of silver Craig! I kind of look at the 2023-present dated Mor/Pea coins as overpriced numismatic rounds, like the majority of the silver medals they produce. Buying 5 of a 2026 Morgan or Peace RP $1, equates to only 4.295oz of silver and $865. Or you could p/u 5.705 more ounces of silver for $235 less, in the form of a PAMP Lady of Justice Ag Bar or Sunshine Minting America 250 Buffalo Silver round from CostCo! Those end up being $629.99 online or $619.99 if available in store! PS It’s all good in the hood, as long as you buy what you like!

CaliSkier, I wonder how many of these gorgeous Peace/Morgans would’ve sold if they were priced appropriately. I’m only buying one of each, because I want a complete set of P/M modern era coins in my collection. I’d consider adding 5 of each but for the insane pricing of these. Oh well, I suppose the millennials are running the show at the mint. Cheers

PORGAN FOMO PLAY….

CaliSkier, Other than REB, who literally needs these coins for his contiguous Au Proof collection, I see no reason for owning these at their price points. Contrary to what some have posted, I have plenty of disposable (I hate that word in reference to $$$’s…LoL) dollars for coin purchases. Since I don’t sell any of my Ag or Au coin hoard, putting a $20K Au coin in my safe makes no sense to me when the alternative is to invest that amount into something that will give me a ROI. Practically all of my Au coins bought from years past are now worth a greater amount with the rise in spot and to be clear I have more than enough for my purposes. My question would be how long will it take for someone who bought these to actually see a ROI? I’ll stick with the BoM Au pieces this year, and yes, I know with the numbers being produced these aren’t going to be big ROI winners, but it’s the 250th Anniversary year, and I’m buying them as a collector. Cheers

Interesting. I’m thinking availability may start grinding down since most now know the problems with the bell “product”. Whether they were collectors or flippers, those folks have already returned their coins. The question remains whether “right hands” collectors will shell out $10k and/or $20k for coins with potentially poor short- and moderate-term gain prospects. That pretty much limits future sales to 1) hardcore collectors (me raising my hand) and 2) incredible risk-takers. Do those two cadres add up to enough purchasers to pull these high-priced coins over the sellout finish line (again)? We shall see ….
