I was disappointed with the appearance. The relief details are slightly shinier compared to the field of the coin. Only two textures that are very similar.

So I’m not the only one? I’m new to the ASE but this doesn’t look enhanced at all. I was expecting something similar to the 2013 one. How would someone know if it’s a normal one or enhanced.

I never received a confirmation email. Came home from work and there was the box. I’m very happy with this coin. I don’t know how it compares with the one released in 2013, since I never ordered that one.

Received mine Friday (July 24). Forgot it was the ASE. It’s beautiful. I only need one. The Morgan and Peace I subscribed for two each, although I only need one. My collection looks nice with these.
Also have the cents. I look forward to the clad proof set release. The cents will be the same as for the silver proof set. The Philadelphia and Denver cents will be the ones to have for the Lincoln Cent series. Lower mintage than for the 1909-S VDB cents. We’ll see what the Mint decides for next year, if cents or no cents.

We all have likes, dislikes, opinions on how a given coins design, finish, price, marketing and sales execution play out. Different strokes for different folks and as long a you’re happy with a purchase and buy what you like,’that is all that really matters!
