Numismatrix, I’m keeping my fingers crossed that the Peace RP, which will be here on Friday, is like my Morgan RP (also minted at P) which looks like a RP70 coin. I know Philly has had problems pressing nice examples of ASE’s in the past, which is why I’m amazed by the Morgans finish. I’ll find out Friday if my Peace turned out well, or not. Cheers

I got my reverse morgan and peace today.My peace has a milk spot also on the neck and small dot in frosted area.Under loop dot shows black like a carbon spot.Quality coming out for these are not great.My friend had a problem with his too.

$173 is too high a price for a low quality unit. The quality control at “P,” given that it is the “busiest” mint and the main one is on and off. The branch mints usually produce higher quality pieces, and the previous years strikes at “S” were outstanding. Will be interesting to see how the “S” mint evolves in terms of its production future.

REB, I’d return the blemished Peace and order another one. For $173, you should be happy with the coin you receive. I know if the one on its way to me isn’t up to par, I’ll print a return label and away she goes. Easy peasy. Cheers

VinnieC, I just checked it and it too is now listed as ‘Shipped’. No delivery date yet noted as it’s still waiting for the USPS label. The Philadelphia Mint did an excellent job with my Morgan RP and this Peace should pair well with it. Apparently, Quality Control must’ve been a priority at that mint since those Omega Cents were released. I’m really impressed! Cheers

REB, I liked it much better when ‘if’ you could secure a limited release coin, such as the V75, at a reasonable price you were almost assured of seeing a nice appreciation in value (ROI). Are you going for the 1 ounce Au or the 1/2 ounce Au…or both? Best of luck to you sir!
