Yes, bad apples, whether in the PO/UPS/FedEx warehouse, or in the delivery truck will know exactly what's inside that box if it's been chipped with NFC, ie: Gold Shield w/PCGS...

David Lawrence Rare Coins (DLRC), just the other day sent my Kennedy to me wrapped in foil.

For the last year I've been sending out the Gold Shield slabs wrapped in a nice foil pouch that's sealed tight with a heat "impulse sealer" gadget fwiw...

My PCGS 1942/1 XF40 dime that I previously mentioned here on CN came with the slab wrapped in aluminum foil. I thought how odd. Yesterday at the North (Orange) County Monthly Coin Show I overheard a dealer mention nefarious people using the NFC on their phones to scan for and identify PCGS slabs with RFID in packages in transit (from known coin dealers?).

I saw several dealer selling 2026 silver proof sets and unc. mint sets. The unc. sets were typically unmarked. The SPS tended to go for about $345.

I got no "in" and pulling that many, if true, is clearly a failure on several levels. NO WAY is looking or searching wrong... but this is like a Mint tales from the crypt....Would You think pulling what 40% privy's from a box, or a roll, is ok..normal...RANDOM....if so why or how! Are we being lied to by the leaders of the mint....heaven forbid! But, the whole privy thing is a red herring, no Mayflowers yet even....no dimes, halves....nickels!
.....gheesh dude it is most likely some kind of fix...like that pallet of Au mistakenly vaporized, or those 400+ Enhanced Rev ASE dumped with NO (written USM policy says: on special items 14: days to ensure a wide and fair distribution... nevertheless @730eastern A full drop, despite no doubt thousands asked to remind me..or that recent next day Enhanced AGE "next day! drop", what 3k at AM 'surprise drop' and ALL sold in seconds ...how does THAT happen? ...they have cancelled orders and have done so, more than 1x, but someone snagging, likely & apparently ALL EUASE$ was cool, that is what was reported....kind of a pound sand situation For many desiring the coin & asking to be reminded, etc... on an issue hat obviously call
ed for the HHL @1 to remain for a bit...amd is t a 730AM EDT drop less than 24h from the day before drop AT NINE AM!,, odd
