As luck would have it, I just happened to look at my change yesterday from lunch. Wouldn't you know it, 2 brand new Semiquincentennial quarters with 1 of them being the "special" one with the privy mark. Woo hoo. What a surprise to be sure.

No, they will not be in the coins you purchase from the mint. I have already asked that question, and the mint stated these privy coins will only be relased in circulation.

I opened my spreadsheet which was on my other computer and "early" was 2:27 AM EDT. Don't know why it went up at 3:00 AM (some sort of cancellation?) I mentioned in my other thread on the newer article there was a boatload of 26EAs too. We need to find some sort of server which everybody has access to and crowdsource the data.

Good catch VinnieC, apparently there was another batch of 26BM1 sets added sometime around 9:15 - 9:30 AM ET today. Here are the latest numbers (times ET):

6/24 9:00 PM = 49
6/24 10:00 PM = 41

6/25 early AM = 7
6/25 9:00 AM = 0
6/25 9:42 AM = 1,329

Cali --- At the risk of boring some by posting this again, other than a little re-formatting to make it more readable here, attached is the Veteran Thank You Card I attach the 2023 Louisiana Higgins coins to.

Fyi, while I initially bought a $100 bag of them just to see how coins faired in a bag, it occurred to me that while I didn't want them in my coin collection, Veterans just might really appreciate receiving them along with my heart-felt thanks. Since I only have about 8 or 10 of the Higgins coins left, I have met ... and thanked ... so many for their Service and Sacrifice. And if has been personally very satisfying to do. --- Mike
