Agree. Artists on Teddy’s is Barber and Morgan. Two giants of the mints engravers. The mint doesn’t do enough to promote who the artists who designed some of these medals.

Sure as $hit, two foreign misfits left for dead. One looks like a Mexican Dollar and the other is a non-denomination from Panama. I will be doing this every week from here on out when I make my weekly beer run.

c_q, those were the days and they have long passed. The Mint no longer leaves past year products at the lower price and now has chosen to raise prices retroactively on all previous year issued products, regardless of having already purchased the silver and struck a given coin at a lower price. This has contributed to many products being left in inventory selling for many years after they were originally released. Now that they literally have 10’s of thousands of silver products left, providing people will actually buy(not likely) older product, they look to make higher profits.

I suspect, that this time around, most product sales of older silver products will be dead in the water, remaining on the Mints website for many years to come, unless they decide to de-trash and recycle?

PS If and it’s a big if, the Mint recognizes that old silver product sales will be dead in the water, they may leave at the old price, however they then wouldn’t have sent the e-mail that they did?

someone at the mint will have to do it manually, so probably no earlier than 9am EST. however, why they didn’t do it at the same time they sent the email somewhat mystifies me – perhaps the accountants sent the email and the tech folks weren’t around to implement yet.

still plenty available right now.

if they don’t include cents in those sets, there will be a heck of a lot of cancelled orders…
