I would have to put a loop to it. But here goes….

1964 P 90% Silver quarters did not have a mint mark (normal).

Obverse: 6 O’clock in Washinton’s throat. A smooth void exists. Possible heavily worn die chip or void in the planchet. Too deep for grease.

Reverse: 5 O’clock, “AR” in Dollar is partially struck. This lowers the grade. Also looks lightly circulated.

Reverse: From 8 O’clock to 10 O’clock, looks like a die crack along the outer edge of the eagle’s wing.

Reverse: 4 O’clock ????? Can’t tell if that is a dig with exposed copper. An orangish look to the ridge. A 40% transition planchet possibly? I would have to put an eye ball to it to know for sure.

Try your luck with NGC or PCGS, as they offer Error Services.

1a) Like Dave said. The depression on the lower neck is normal but looks deeper on her coin.
1b) The gouge on the reverse as Kia saw, or is that a cardboard debris?
2) AU55. MS is not possible imo.
3) No
4) N/A. I honestly think that it’s worth $.25 at the store, or $12 at the LCS, just me.
5) If the reverse is a gouge, then it would grade AU details. It’s hard(for me) to say if the depression on the neck is truly a strike through. Shadows can be tricky. If it is struck through, maybe it’s grease? But from my very limited exposure, grease is usually sharp & spikey, not as smooth? VinnieC might have an opinion.
My (former) high grade Kennedy appears to have a grease strike on the reverse ⇊

Last Wed(12/24), and last Fri(12/26) were deemed Federal Holidays via the Presidential Temporary Executive order, and since the Mint changes grid pricing manually, nobody was at work. Yesterday was the next business day to manually change the grid pricing to get it up to speed.

That’s my take on the break in precedence.

Wild, as a wilder guess, it looks like a faulty planchette with a cavity under Washington’s throat which matches a depression on the eagle’s right wing by the shoulder. I can’t make out what is under the eagles left wing feathers, metal or fuzz. Get those pro-eyes in there!

Struck through, though ever so lightly???
