Here is what I received for my subscription of one set. Funny that I received the US Mint survey the next day after receiving these. For years I have been receiving the volume buyer rejects. I rarely ever in recent (10 or so) years receive a coin that isn’t scratched or doesn’t have foreign material on it including finger prints. I used to receive pristine coins especially the proofs. This demonstrates a new low for both the volume buyer and the US Mint. Shame on the volume buyer and shame on the mint for not checking the item before shipping it to me. True I cannot know with certainty that their volume buyer rejects. Let’s say for arguments sake that they aren’t. Then the US Mint quality control has gone downhill in rapid and extreme fashion and for a relatively long time. Neither is acceptable. They have lost my business for annual sets and now possibly Morgan and Peace Dollars. The only coins left are the Silver Eagles and due to the poor quality if I want to continue I am left to pay for slabbed coins. I used to look forward to receiving coins from the Mint. The hobby is definitely losing its appeal. Happy holidays to all!

I’m in the boat with you RF as the mint continually changes numbers to suit their needs. I currently have 2 on sub, but will only want 1 as I’ll bet they press more P ASE’s down the road. Anyway, the Au coins are going to be very expensive so there’s no need to load up on Ag coins…my opinion only. Cheers!
