I did some checking on eBay tonight. Apparently, there are a number of Loomis 2019-W War in the Pacific “Ender Rolls” available. Also, looks like one guy in Florida may have gotten a solid 40 “W” coin roll. So, these are still out there in roll form. My best guess is that the three “W” coins I received at Safeway came from a fresh bank roll that was most likely all “Ws” or close to it. So, hard to believe, but true. I am still perplexed myself and yet grateful. I am not in the market for these and I could just sell them off on eBay. However, since they are BU, I’ll just put them back in Saflips with the rest of this year’s finds.

Loomis, Brinks, some dude inOklahoma, but inthe wyld is great! I did get a silver dime last month in change @ Kroger where I used to also,get ATB rolls, they wanted to sell me as many as they could …now what the F do I do with all the Rolls of them I got…..and State quarters…..?

USS Bowfin….. The Pearl Harbor avenger ….tight quarters indeed but not quite like the B25 walk thru, the docent said not a lot of 6’2” airmen worked the turrets, etc. small…
A few years ago visited on of the planes hay ended it all….
That B29 was made of SILVER…. HAHAHA!!

Paydirt for me. I wonder if there is any connection to Pearl Harbor Day and the release of these coins into the wild. There is a US Bank in the Safeway where I got them. The coins came from an automated coin dispenser at the check out. I am perplexed and elated by this find. Additionally, I typically screen every single coin I get in my change and it finally paid off. Granted, they are not worth that much, but I am happy, and they are worth more than face. Maybe more so down the road. These coins have been so hard to find in the past….maybe the release is finally happening. 2 million per – 20 million total – and very few have been found.

WOW! That is truly amazing E1! I almost can’t believe your good fortune! I’d go back right now and be seeing if that cashier would sell me as many as possible! That has to be one of the best finds reported here on Coin News in quite a while and has to be in the top 10 all time? Congratulations! PS I feel these W quarters are somewhat underrated and undervalued.
