II have a picture of John F Kennedy like that one that I found in 1972 and it’s in the original frame that is black and has a grove in it all around it

I have a sweet 2025 slabbed by ICG. I paid less than the cost of certification. I sold one on eBay for $7 I’m regretting selling any.

They certainly did not take care in handling them. Glad I wasn’t the only one who saw that mess up.

Not sure why CAC is involved with these 1C moderns because their own cutoff for reviewing the 1C is 1958, nothing later is considered. CAC does make exceptions for DD’s beyond 1958, as well as a no S proof…

• Also accepting 1990-(S) No S 1c Proofs”

I’m a fan of CAC because PCGS & NGC need a slap in the face for relaxing their standards, and giving in to “market acceptable/gradeflation” pressures. Maybe just plain ol’ greed has affected them as well?
CAC isn’t perfect for sure, and attempting to grade from photos isn’t ideal either(ask me how I know). ‘Subjective’ is the word of the day today.

Looks like 3,800+ certified examples exist. Wow. Not that many. Thanks for looking that up Vince.

Likely me, someone intrercepted many…. A. LOT. I complain about the ”man” (USM) & enablers etc. Just over the years not many on blogs etc., got many W or V75 in the wild. I still look.

My totals were a month ago so I just looked again today PCGS: 1441; NGC: 1959; ANACS: 303; CAC: 115

QQQ. A safer place to be. Most FAs don’t like dealing with individual stocks and prefer high quality funds. They are just easier to manage. VTI and VUG come to mind as well.

NVDA and GOOG, up up up after hours.

I still don’t see an exit on these two just yet.
