CaliSkier, Thanks for the information as I’m interested in what those Au cents will sell for. That’s the first I heard about the mint producing Au cents and it would’ve been something to get collectors excited about if they had offered any for sale on their site. What do you think they will go for, excluding the 1st and last one produced? Oh, let’s hope those numismatic imbeciles haven’t handled any of the Au like the one in your meme. Cheers

It may not be the actual last penny, but it is the defacto last penny and it has been marked!

Vinnie, the order in which the coins were struck wasn’t noted in any of the stories, however they should have been tracked, similar to what had been done for the “2021 American Eagle at Dusk and at Dawn 35th Anniversary One-Ounce American Eagle Bullion Coins.”? However, they also shouldn’t have been man/woman handling without gloves, those Omega Lincoln Cents either, so who knows? Based on the handling of that last Lincoln Cent, it wouldn’t surprise me the least, if they used someone’s shirt, to attempt to polish and clean off those fingerprints? Can you say “hairlines”? Doh!

ips_stuff, others, just add the item number, letter combo you’re searching for, one at a time/per search, at the end of the following string(below), immediately after(no spaces) the = sign. The string is case(upper) sensitive. The tail of the string should look like: =25XS or =25MPM. Also depending on which product we’re talking about, the item number may also have an ending of “AB” or “040”(25RCAB, 25EAAB, 25EA040) for authorized bulk purchase program(ABPP) depending on whether the item can be broken into 40-coin trays or are sold intact in the same manner as sold to the public. The “AB” product is sold pre release with a 5% premium to bulk purchasers, prior to being made available to the public. Usually 9-11 days before, with p/u scheduled 7-days prior to us getting a crack at the product. This allows them to then submit to the TPG’s for all of those coin dealer “First Strike”, “First Day of Issue”, “Early Release”, “Advance Release”, ad nauseum, TPG labels they have access to.

Copy the string and save in a note, memo, e-mail, text, to yourself for easy reference or later use. Lastly, once you get to the site, scroll down just past where the main item description occurs and look for “ats”. I’ve included a screen shot, courtesy of Rick from months ago, to give you an idea of what and where to look.

PS The below will take you to the 2025 W American Silver Eagle for the ABPP early release version. If you remove the AB tail and add 040 to what’s left, you’ll get the 40-coin tray’s. Then as explained above, remove 25EAAB entirely and add the item number you’re looking for, right behind the = sign. I just had an absolutely hilarious thought. If Brandon Beach is really holding the last penny struck, you want the one with the fingerprint!

P.S. I don’t know how to to the tell the last one struck if they were struck as a batch. May I missed it in the news stories.
